KTVR Knowledge Park for Engineering and Technology conducted a Faculty Development Programme on 19th November 2010.  The programme began with the welcome address by the Head of the Institution   Dr. D. Senthil Kumaran. 
The Chief Guest for the day was Er. S. Sampath Kumar, Competency Development Manager, Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore. He emphasized on the topic “Recent Methodologies in Teaching Engineering Subjects”. The Faculty members were motivated to upgrade themselves to the latest. He portrayed the edible definition of Competency which is all about knowledge, skill and attitude.  His ardent talk on the key essentialities proved to be a motivating one and it was an interactive session.
