The NSS unit of KTVR Knowledge Park for Engineering and Technology is accomplishing its service oriented programmes in a fruitful way covering multi farious aspects.  In the due course of it, the NSS successfully conducted an awareness programme on the importance of kidney and its associated health problems on 3rd March, 2010. 

A batch of 50 students participated in the health awareness campaign started from Bharathi Park to KTVR Hospital.  The team was lead by Mr. R. Dinesh Kumar, NSS Co ordinator and Senior Lecturer, CSE Department, Mr. R.Karthick, Lecturer, IT department and J. Gayathri, Lecturer, CSE Department.  Mayor Radhakrishnan, Doctors and nurse of KTVR Hospital participated in the awareness campaign.  The event was mainly organized to serve as an eye-opener for the people in order to achieve the objective of preventing or treating avoidable kidney and Diabetic complications.
