Six students participated in a workshop on Digital Signal processing at Park College of Engineering, five students participated on Digital Image processing at Hindustan College of Engineering, three students on Wireless Communication at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, three students on optical communication at PPG Institute of Technology, ten students participated on cypress at MIT, three students on ARM Micro Controller at SNS College of Engineering and six students on embedded systems at Government college of engineering.

Mr. M. Dinesh presented a paper and won first prize at Ranganathar Engineering College. Three students participated in a workshop on Electromagnetic simulation tools at Bannariamman Institute of Technology. One student participated on VLSI Design at Angel College of Engineering and Technology. Seven students won first and second prizes in various events like technical quiz and circuit debugging conducted at CIET and SNS College of Engineering.

Four students participated in one day workshop on Microsoft Dream spark Certificate at TCE and symposium cyberfest‟10 at CIT. Eight students participated in the workshop at SSK College of Engineering. Seven students participated in Topcoders event at Adithya Institute of Information Technology.

Seven students won prizes for Paper presentation, web designing and techno babble conducted at Angel College of Engineering, Info Institute of Engineering and PSG College of Technology. Ten students undergone inplant training at Seven tech software solutions and Salzer electronics pvt. Ltd.
